Touring Programs

For over 13 years PALISADES VIRTUOSI has been delighting audiences throughout the Northeast, Hawaii and Canada. For each season of their subscription concert series in northern New Jersey they have created distinctly different themed programs based around the world premiere of a newly commisioned work. With over 75 new works to their credit - several by Grammy and Pulitzer Prize- winning composers - PV is prepared to tour its programs for the coming season.

Relaxed in their presentation to concert audiences, PV peppers its verbal program notes with personal recollections and anecdotes about the composers, bringing an enriching and enjoyable concert experience to patrons. They have many themed programs including “H2O” (music inspired by all forms of water), “Around the World in 80 Minutes” (music by beloved composers from all over the globe), “Myths & Legends” (works that celebrate famous characters throughout history), “Women of Note” (featuring fascinating music written solely by women composers), “American Jubilee” (with award-winning works by American composers) “Dance & Romance” (a collection of lively and alluring pieces), “It Didn’t Stop With The Movies” (serious classical works by film composers), “The Czech Connection” (featuring a work by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer, Paul Moravec), “South (& North!) of the Border!”, and “When They were Young” (a program of works written by composers in their youth with a fun guessing game for the audience!), just to name a few.
If you are looking for something else of interest to your audience, please let us know. We may be able to create a program around a theme of your choosing! PV also offers educational outreach with its programs & workshops for students of all ages.
